Question 1

Does a no-plumbing sink comply with UK council licensing and health regulations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Self-contained no-plumbing sinks meet hand hygiene requirements for council-licensed premises, including aesthetic clinics, SPMU, tattoo studios, and beauty salons. They provide running hot and cold water at a consistent pressure without needing connection to mains water pipes or drainage.

Question 2

How fast does the water heat up?

Accepted Answer

Our integrated instant heating tap system delivers hot water in approximately 3 seconds. For high-volume clinical settings or prolonged treatments, upgraded heating systems offer continuous hot water flow.

Question 3

How do the internal fresh and waste water tanks work?

Accepted Answer

Infinity Basins operate using dual internal food-grade containers (ranging from 10L to 25L depending on the model). You simply fill the fresh water container from a standard tap and lift out the wastewater tank to empty down a domestic drain when full.

Question 4

What electrical power supply is required?

Accepted Answer

No specialist electrical installation or rewiring is needed. All units plug directly into a standard 230V / 13A UK household 3-pin socket and only draw power when water is actively running.

Question 5

What safety standards and certifications do Infinity Basins meet?

Accepted Answer

All units feature UKCA and CE-compliant electrical components, automatic low-noise pumps, and thermal shut-off protection to ensure safe operation in commercial workspaces and treatment rooms.

Question 6

Are no-plumbing sinks suitable for home salons and garden rooms?

Accepted Answer

Yes. They are specifically designed for garden offices, outbuildings, and home-based salons where installing permanent mains plumbing requires expensive ground excavation, trenching, or macerator pumps, saving thousands of pounds in installation costs.
